No matter which kit you decide is right for you, you can add more components at a later date.
The kits are pre programmed by Securavan and have 1,000s of setting variations. All settings can be changed by the owner or Securavan can make changes remotely through our customer service team. Securavan needs to be invited by the owner to become an admin user and then removed after the settings are completed.
Kit 1
This kit provides intrusion protection for the indoors and outdoors.
Scenarios covered are:
Any potential intruder getting too close ( usually set to 3 meters ) to the exterior of your van will trigger the Outdoor Motion Camera Detector PHOD and an alert is sent to your phone within a split second. 5 seconds later you will receive 3 images of what created the alert. Through the app you can take more pictures to see what is happening in real time. The position of the outdoor camera detector is recommended to be close to the entry door. Additional cameras can be placed on any surface around the van ( unless you have a specific reason this option is really not required ).
Your Outdoor Siren and LED light will immediately start flashing the LED light alerting the intruder they have been. The siren can be set to go off automatically or you can manually sound the siren remotely from your phone app if you choose. We programme for the light to go on but leave the siren off, we will programme the kit for which option you want it. There are tutorials that show how to change any settings.
If the intruder decides to risk it and continue breaking in to the interior the door protect switch will send an alert to your phone and at the same time the indoor motion detect camera will start to take 3 images and send them to you. You can take real time images remotely from your phone.
Smoke and heat detector will alert you through your phone. And depending on on the settings you choose can sound the siren to alert you as well.
Control Fob is handy as an simple key fob designed unit to arm and disarm the alarm system. It can be given to someone you want to have access to your van and alos provides a great back up if your mobile phone is not able to be used temporarily.
Kit 2
This Kit provides Indoor intrusion protection only
We have included options at the end of the description below.
Scenario:
This setup protects intrusion into the van and sends an alert if anyone opens the door and or steps inside. If they go inside the Indoor Motion Detect Camera will activate and send 3 images to your phone in 5 seconds. You will already have received the alert when the Door Protect Sensor activated as the door was open, on your phone in a split second after intrusion began. You will be able to take real time images from your phone app to see what is happening and you can decide on your next steps. The outdoor flashing light is already activated and you can easily now sound the siren in short bursts or continuously. This kit includes a Control Fob for convenience and has the 12 volt converter chip installed in the Hub2 plus
The kit includes 6 items
Hub 2 plus , Indoor motion Detect Camera PHOD, Door Protect plus, Outdoor Siren Flashing LED light
Options:
Add smoke and heat detector
Remove the Door Protect sensor ( the Indoor Camera Detector will alert on intrusion once they are inside) the reason we suggest door protect is to pick up intrusion earlier and it can be used separately to be attached to any outdoor equipment like Fridge, Generator etc.
You can always add components at any time.
