Securavan attended the Sunshine Coast Expo on the weekend and we met a bunch of nice people. There is no doubt the caravan travelling lifestyle is growing in popularity. So much that it seems the waiting list for a new van is getting longer by the month. It was so good to talk face to face with our customers. We are proud of our product and I am sure the visitors to our stand could see the passion we have in being able to fight back against the rising crime statistics Australia wide.
There were 2 types of sentiment expressed by people we spoke to. Obviously they want to stop thieves but it was particularly interesting to experience first hand the travellers looking forward to just feeling safer. It was nice to chat to those who are just starting and have their van on order and understandably thinking of how they can prepare for their new experience.
WE had a lot of interest from Campervan owners as well. Originally I didn't think this was potential market for Securavan because a car alarm system might be enough. But how wrong I was some 12 months ago when starting on the journey to provide a full security solution for travellers.
The ability to have outdoor protection with the Motion Camera while sleeping inside. Parking at a beach spot and leaving the camper for a few hours for a swim or a shop.
